Who is Berlin Bombenkrieg and
why subscribe?
This page is about to research all those Allied air raids targeted to the German capital, the aircrews and the Berliners during WW2. We don’t look for any moment nor we have the objective to accusing its protagonists or any kind of revisionism of the past, only to expose the historical facts, relaying exclusively in primary sources and literature.
About the author
Pablo López Ruiz is a historian who has studied and researched the air bombardment of Germany by Allied forces during WW2 for many years, specialising in the Berlin raids after living in the city for some years.
His work was defended as Bachelor’s Degree Final Project as part of his BA in History at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 2007, with further studies also in Contemporary History at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Expertise
Our work focus on the Allied bombing campaign against the city of Berlin during the 1939-45 war, with military, economic and social aspects and its consequences on the German capital and their people.
We research also the Allied bombing missions and remember those days’ experiences from RAF Bomber Command and USAAF aircrews.
